Hoffman FT015H - Series H 1-1/2" Cast Iron F&T Trap

The Hoffman Specialty float and thermostatic (F&T) steam trap, model FT015H, features a 1-1/2" trap connection in a same side, H-pattern configuration. This pattern allows steam to enter from either side of the trap, and the condensate to discharge from either the opposite or the same side of the trap. This configuration also allows for more flexibility when piping in. H Series F&T traps are continuous drainage and are designed for low, medium, and high pressure steam mains and come standard with stainless steel internal parts. The FT015H is cast iron and has a 15 psi maximum operating pressure. This trap has a capacity for 5,300 pounds per hour. The traps are designed for service on heat exchange equipment where there is a need to vent air and non-condensable gases quickly. They are recommended for modulating pressures where widely varying loads are present and are a good choice for their ability to vent air at very low pressures, handle start up air loads, and operate against back pressure.
