Hoffman FT030C - Series C 1-1/2" Cast Iron F&T Trap

The Hoffman Specialty float and thermostatic (F&T) steam trap, model FT030C, features a 1-1/2" trap connection in a same side configuration. The C Series F&T trap has an inlet on the top end of the cover and a condensate discharge outlet on the bottom end of the cover. These traps are continuous drainage and are designed for low, medium, and high pressure steam mains and come standard with stainless steel internal parts. The FT030C is cast iron and has a 30 psi maximum operating pressure. This trap has a capacity for 7,000 pounds per hour. The traps are designed for service on heat exchange equipment where there is a need to vent air and non-condensable gases quickly. They are recommended for modulating pressures where widely varying loads are present and are a good choice for their ability to vent air at very low pressures, handle start up air loads, and operate against back pressure.
