Honeywell R7848A1008 Infrared Flame Amplifier, Dynamic Self-Check

The Honeywell R7848A1008 is a solid-state, plug-in infrared flame amplifier. It is designed to respond to flame detector inputs to indicate the presence of a flame when used with 7800 SERIES relay modules.

• Detection Type: Infrared
• Self-Checking: Dynamic Self-Check (tests the detectors and all electronic components; locks out the 7800 SERIES relay module on safety shutdown upon system failure)
• Flame Failure Response Time (FFRT): 2.0 or 3.0 seconds
• Flame Signal Strength: 0.0 to 5.0 Vdc
• Relay Compatibility: Use with 7800 SERIES Relay Modules
• Sensor Compatibility: Compatible with existing Honeywell flame detectors for Gas, Oil, and Coal (such as Ultraviolet Flame Sensor C7012E, F)
• Installation: Plugs into the 7800 relay module through a printed circuit board edge connector keyed for proper orientation
• Testing & Diagnostics: Built-in flame signal test jacks allow you to easily measure the amplifier's flame signal voltage
• Identification: Color-coded labels quickly identify the flame detection type
