Mepco ML9900 - Mechanism Assembly, Float & Gasket for 44-715 Traps

Mepco (formerly Dunham & Bush) mechanism assembly, float, and gasket for model 44-715 F&T traps. Float mechanisms allow condensate to drain from the trap by a lever and seat operation. It is held in place by screwing the seat into the outlet port within the trap. With the float attached to this mechanism, the weight of the float keeps the lever down, in turn keeping the seat closed when steam is present. When the steam cools and turns to a liquid state, the trap fills with condensate causing the float to rise and opening the seat to allow the condensate to drain.
