The Resideo S87D1038 is a direct spark ignition control module designed for reliable ignition in natural or LP gas systems. Operating on a 24Vac power supply, it features a fast 0.8-second flame failure response and re-ignition time for enhanced safety and performance. The module uses a two-rod flame-sensing system and includes a 21-second ignition trial time and one ignition trial to lockout. It also incorporates an internal high-voltage spark generator and an alarm terminal for fault indication. With no prepurge required, the S87D delivers efficient and dependable ignition control for residential and commercial heating applications.
