The Hoffman Specialty 601111 is a replacement thermostatic element for float & thermostatic steam traps with 15 psi maximum operating pressures. This thermostat repairs models FT015H-3, FT015H-4, FT015H-5, FT015H-6, FT015H-8, FT015I-3, FT015I-4, FT015I-5, FT015C-6, FT015C-8, and FT015X-8. Thermostatic elements (also known as air vents) are liquid-filled and sealed. As they warm, the element expands, trapping in the steam. As they cool, the element contracts, allowing the discharge of condensate. They are used on all 3/4 to 2” Hoffman Specialty float and thermostatic steam traps with 15-psi maximum operating pressures.
